Meet Logan Allec, CPA
Logan Allec is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and the founder of PayrollSignal. He has spent more than a decade working with small businesses, S corporations, and self-employed individuals on tax planning, IRS resolution, and the day-to-day financial decisions that come with running a company — including how to run payroll correctly without overpaying.
Before launching PayrollSignal, Logan worked in public accounting at a Big Four firm and later at a large national CPA firm, advising business owners on entity structure, reasonable compensation, payroll tax compliance, and year-end filings such as W-2s and 1099s. He also founded Choice Tax Relief, a tax-resolution firm that represents taxpayers in front of the IRS, and Money Done Right, a personal-finance publication.
Logan built PayrollSignal because he kept getting the same question from clients, YouTube viewers, and fellow business owners: "Which payroll software should I actually use?" Most existing reviews are either thinly disguised affiliate pages or generic feature checklists that ignore how a real small business operates. PayrollSignal exists to give a clear, honest answer.
