- Automatically collected information. Standard server logs and analytics — IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Used for analytics, affiliate-click attribution, and basic site functionality.
We do not collect Social Security numbers, bank account information, or payroll data. PayrollSignal is not a payroll provider.

- To return your personalized quiz result.

- To attribute affiliate sign-ups to PayrollSignal so that partners can pay any commission owed.

- You can take the quiz without providing identifying information.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@payrollsignal.com.
- California, Colorado, Virginia, and other state residents may have additional rights under their state privacy laws; the email above is also how you exercise them.
- You can opt out of analytics cookies via your browser's "Do Not Track" or privacy settings.
Children's privacy
PayrollSignal is intended for U.S. small-business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Data retention and security
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, and use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect it. No system is perfectly secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
